The book was Kingdom Man by Tony Evans. I didn’t see a change in myself, particularly. I loved reading the book, and I just felt like it put me in a good mood. I started hearing Beth tell people around me that she saw a change in me once I proceeded past the second chapter. I knew what I needed to do: Be a Kingdom Man who handles my realm the way God intended me to.
I was not reading the Quran because I believed in it, though I had a feeling I needed to know it. Eventually I had enough, and started reading Antiquities of the Jews by Flavius Josephus. I wanted to know if someone other than the Catholic Church found any of this to be an accurate reflection of reality. Beth urged me to read the bible as much as I was reading this massive collection of volumes. I love her so much for this, today. Although then, I moved on to Herodotus.
Beth and I started dating and eventually began leading worship at a start-up Baptist church that met in a high-school cafeteria. I put off going to college so I could get a full time job and upon hearing the news, my pastor (who doubled as my electric guitar player) estimated my weekly tithe…aloud…during the service countdown.
I would have never thought He would have cared to convert a Christian raised in His own house.

Agnostic – noun. A person who claims neither faith nor disbelief in a God.
Essentially, you might as well be agnostic because believing in a God hasn’t changed your life inside, or out.
Due to this being a major election year, I see many of my favorite bloggers, YouTubers, musicians, and actors turning to tell you who you should vote for. Words like ‘Mainstream Media’ and ‘Scandal’ become commonplace, everyday speech. Any time I read, view, or listen to any religious material, I am now consistently running into this one question:
As a Christian, Who Do I Vote For?
There is no better way to rightly handle the Word of God than to be able to bring your journey to your finger-tips. Here is the list of my top 7 apps that have been incredibly helpful in my journey:
One of my least favorite things to talk about is which Bible translation is the best. The only good answer to that question is…not an English one.
